Denny Kane was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1958.  He spent most of his professional life in public service working for the U.S. House of Representatives and as a political appointee during the Clinton Administration.  He spent the latter part of his career in the private sector in the field of technology.

Those jobs did not prevent Denny from pursuing his lifelong passion for creating and selling arts and crafts.  He has sold his wares at flea markets, consignments houses in Ohio Amish Country, festivals, fairs and out of his studio shop on Hatteras Island, North Carolina.

​Denny's work is most influenced by earth's natural environment ranging from images of deep space down to electron microscopic views of matter.  Denny works to combine modern paint technologies with age old textures to manipulate color and light in producing vibrant three dimensional art forms on canvas, wood and other mediums.
